Great Britain Women’s World Championships Team Announced
Great Britain announced a young women’s side for the World Championship in Birmingham this July.
Head Coach Garry Peel has selected his team after playing a number of warm up tournaments in preparation for taking on the best teams in the World. The tournaments have allowed him to give those with less experience valuable playing time and on court minutes.
There is only one change to the side that played at the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester last month, with Clare Strange who was forced out last minute with an injury comes back into the team.
The women’s team will warm up in a pre-tournament, The FSB World Wheelchair Basketball Challenge supported by FSB Insurance Services, where they will face USA and Japan, from the 2nd July to the 4th July.
