BOOST
Over the last few years the BOOST charitable trust has been instrumental in supporting the Great Britain women's wheelchair basketball team.
Their funding has meant the team have been able to take up certain opportunities that previously would have not been available to them, for instance in 2009 BOOST supported their trip to the Spitfire Competition in Canada enabling them to play top level opponents.
BOOST are now supporting the GBWBA Women's Development Programme by funding a Women's Development Officer, to recruit and retain more females in the game, support clubs in creating women's sections and developing the women's league.
BOOST was established in 2005 with the aim of championing the disabled and disadvantaged and to inspire them to overcome their challenges through the power of sport.
Their mission is to be a champion amongst sporting charities.
