Insurance
All GBWBA registered clubs, coaches, players and referees are covered by the following insurance provided by Sportscover UK Limited. It is important that everyone is fully aware of the cover provided and it is recommended that other provisions be made if additional insurance cover is required.
This is particularly of importance with regard to the sports injury policy, which only provides cover for loss of earnings up to a maximum of 100 per week for 52 weeks, excluding the first 14 days following injury. Anyone in full or part-time employment should seriously consider taking out additional personal injury insurance if their loss of earnings would exceed the 100 maximum per week cover on the GBWBA policy.
