GBWBA appoint New Performance Manager
The Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association are delighted to announce that Haj Bhania has taken on the role of Performance Manager.
With the departure of the Performance Director at the end of last year, Haj Bhania has agreed to take on the role of Performance Manager with the three national teams.
Haj will manage the Performance Programme, working closely with the Coaching Staff and Performance Administrator, Kim Wall, as we prepare for the World Championships and London 2012.
Chairman of the National Team Advisory Group, Paul Hudson said, “We are delighted that Haj has agreed to come on board as Performance Manager. We are confident that we have struck a suitable balance with Haj’s coaching commitments.”
Haj will work three days a week as the Peformance Programme Manager and additional coaches have been rostered in to assist with the programme. Special thanks must also go to those coaches for their commitment.
Newly appointed Performance Manager, Haj Bhania said, “I’m looking forward to the challenge and being more active in a management role as we look forward to success in 2010 and 2012.”
