Attend the Launch Event for wheelchair basketball at Brixton Recreation Centre on Saturday 11th February between 11am - 1pm.

Four International Wheelchair Basketball teams - GB, Poland, Turkey & Italy will be taking to the court at Antrim Forum as part of their preparations for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

With 220 days to go until the start of the Paralympic Games in London a major step was taken last night when theGB wheelchair basketball teams discovered their opposition for the pool stages of the tournament.

A new wheelchair basketball club has been set up in the Merton - Croydon with training due to start on Sunday 19th February.

Join Colin Price, silver medal winning Wheelchair Basketball captain for Paralympics GB, sports equipment specialist Professor Mike Caine and Dr Maria Kavussanu an expert in morality in team sport to launch the Cutting Edge 2012 series. 

On Saturday 21st January Great Britain will discover who their opponents will be in the opening matches of the Paralympic Games, as the IWBF draw to decide which pools the teams will be placed will take place at the Waterside Theatre, in Aylesbury.

It is with the greatest sadness that we say farewell to a friend, Zbigniew Micek, who passed away this afternoon (Wednesday 2nd November) having been taken in to hospital on Monday 31st October.

U19's North West and North East team and the U15's East Midlands team won the Lord's Taverners National Junior Wheelchair Basketball Championships this weekend.

Launch of a new wheelchair basketball club in Redbridge will take place on 20th October 2011 between 2pm - 5pm.
