Jay Popat - Club Development Manager
Jay joined GBWBA in March 2009 from his role as Sport Development Manager – Equity for Northamptonshire County Sports Partnership. He brings to the role a wealth of experience in working with social inclusion and community groups from his role with the CSP and his time working for Sport Action Zone in Leicester.
As part of his role he aims to maintain and develop the relationships between the National Governing Body, clubs and local communities.
In his spare time Jay is a keen boxer and names Jack Dempsey as his hero as no matter how many times he got knocked down he got back up and won.
