GBWBA Anti-Doping Rules

The GBWBA has produced a new version of its Anti-Doping Rules that have come into immediate effect. The rules comply with the requirements of IWBF and WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency.

All players registered to play in GBWBA competitions are subject to random anti-drug testing and should be aware of the rules. Particular attention should be taken with regard to the application procedure for the use of drugs for therapeutic purposes. Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) must be obtained if any drug on the banned list is used for therapeutic purposes.
