The Wheelchair Basketball
Activity Day is free, if you are interested in attending, please download and
complete the application form at the bottom of the page.
The Leader’s course cost is £50 with resources (or £25 without resources). Cheques made payable to "Featherstone Technology College". Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age
The Leader’s course will run alongside the activity day, which is organised for pupils from yr 6 to yr 13.

Have a go, play basketball in a wheelchair.
Meet experienced players from GBWBA National League.
Learn how to play wheelchair basketball and ‘Inclusive Zone Basketball’.
Leader's Course
Safely and knowledgeably introduce the basic introductory skills of wheelchair basketball to children and novices
Progress basic skills into small sided game situations
Apply the basic skills and rules of 'Inclusive Zone Basketball'
Use the skills and knowledge acquired to provide opportunities for young and novice players to play wheelchair basketball at school, clubs and in the community
Implement the FUNdamental Skills and FUNdamental Leadership, Officiating and Management Awards
Run an 'Inclusive Zone Basketball' mini competition at the end of the session
